Human capital

Human capital

Education, enhancement of qualification, and creativity are the main sources for the future prosperity and competitiveness in the globalized world.

In order to achieve this goal, it is also necessary to provide equal access to education in the entire region as well as to strengthen cooperation among education institutions. The free movement of workforce, which will become a reality in May 2011, will be not only another step towards the internal integration of the CENTROPE region but the very workforce will have to manage new job opportunities.

The single labour market requires fine-tuned measures, for example, in the area of placing workforce, and, in particular, unified standards intended to achieve comparability of qualification and to enable mutual recognition of education degrees achieved in all partner regions.

Moreover, sustainable development of human capital in the Central European region requires exchange of know-how and cross-border cooperation of non-governmental organizations.
